Michigan Family's Baby Picture Wins $2,500 in the Great American Photo Contest
Kalkaska, MI (PRWEB) November 24, 2008 -- When Diana Agers selected a photo of her beautiful daughter Annika all wrapped up in a bunny blanket, she had no way of knowing that the picture would win her $2,500. She entered the photograph online, in the Great American Photo Contest (www.greatamericanphotocontest.com), which is a monthly contest where the photo that receives the most votes each month is awarded $2,500.
Ms. Agers encouraged her friends and family to vote every day for her picture, and at the end of the month it was at the top! "This was a great experience for the whole family. I thank you so much for this opportunity," said Diana and her husband Eric in a statement. Having put herself through college, Ms. Agers and her husband Eric were delighted to receive the prize money to help their daughter avoid that challenging experience. "We want to support (our children) the whole way and this contest gave us a great start as we think ahead for Annika's future," said the Agers.
